I had an intruder today. Completely disrupted my garden picture-taking. WiseAcre, did you have something to do with this?
Everyone else seems to get pesky bunnies visiting their yard. Me, I usually get bugs, not Bugs Bunny.
Not even a Playboy Bunny.
Sorry, hunny-bunny!
It’s just a funny bunny!
In the sunny.
(I guess I’m a little looney, too).
Cool pics. Sorry I drove you Looney but you needed to come out of the swamp.
I prefer greeting people with ‘What’s Up Duck’ since my peers are more likely to quack than be one.
OMG too funny! I didn’t expect that! Love this post! -Jackie
you are looney! the sun will do that to all of us at some point..haha but i LOVE the pics..good eye!!!
(btw, i think looney is good….hehe)
almost right….. I will start looking for shadows just in case wise acre influence really goes inter continental!!…
Cheers,
Meredith you are such a hoot! Thanks for the laughs. Luckily for my gardens, we don’t get bunnies, squirrels, deer, etc. So did you plant this cactus or did it start growing on its own?
I planted it this spring — it’s about 4 times the size of when I got it. It’s a spineless variety of prickly pear — spineless doesn’t actually mean it’s free of spines, as I discovered the painful way. There will be more plants around it at some point — one little bit at a time!
O.K. You got me. I laughed (out loud even) at this post. I think you’re being effected by the heat. Miserable isn’t it.~~Dee
I love this—especially the surprise that it’s an opuntia. Ha!
This illustrates two things I love about gardening: there are always surprises, and there is always something to laugh about!
You are right about surprises — it’s amazing what one can find right in the backyard! Sometimes I wonder how in the world I noticed the shadow — usually garden bloggers are all so focused on the plants, and I’m no exception. I was wandering around with my camera, looking for something to catch my eye, and there it was.
